I’m Vanessa, and this program was born from my own journey of reconnection.

There was a time when I operated from strong masculine and rigid energy. My mind was highly structured, perfectionist to the smallest detail. I lived by expectations, trying to fit into society’s rules. But this only left me feeling disconnected from my body and my craft and with no passion or energy for anything. This manifested in hormonal imbalances, anxiety, and adrenal fatigue. In the midst of chaos, something within me began to shift and that became the pivotal moment for change.

After nearly two decades as a corporate senior designer and art director across fashion, cosmetics, government, and finance industries in Peru, Australia, and the US, my life began to transform.

Root to Rise emerged from that transition—a path of deep unlearning, reconnection, and embodiment that reshaped the way I live, create, and do business.

I created this container for women who, like me, have felt disconnected and are now ready to awaken their inner compass, reconnect with their energy, and rediscover the spark of creativity and joy.

Today, I support conscious visionaries, women who feel called to create a new way of doing business, rooted in purpose, self-expression, and in harmony with the Earth.

Your business is not something you force into existence—it’s something you allow to emerge from who you already are.

I acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which I now live and work, the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation, the First Peoples of what is today known as Sydney, Australia, and pay my respects to Elders past, present, and emerging.

As someone who walks a path rooted in nature, ancestral wisdom, and shamanic traditions, I honour their enduring connection to Country and the ancient wisdom that continues to live through this land.
