The Rite of the Womb
13 RITE OF THE MUNAY-KI ENERGY TRANSMISSION
The Rite of the Womb is a sacred shamanic initiation. A transmission of feminine healing energy that frees the womb from pain, fear, and shame carried through generations. The Rite is connected with the energy of the 13 moons of the year and the energy of the jaguar and water element.
The origin
This rite was born in the Amazon rainforest, when a woman shaman—Marcela Lobos—received the direct transmission from the womb of Mother Earth herself. It is known as the 13th Rite of the Munay-Ki .
In the Q’ero and Amazonian traditions, the womb is seen as the center of life, intuition, and creation. Over centuries, collective trauma, conditioning, and disconnection from nature have caused women to forget this sacred link.
This rite is a way of returning—to your body, your cyclical nature, and the wisdom of the Earth.
The energy transmission
The initiation is a gentle yet profound ceremony. Through sacred space and the guidance of shamanic energy, the Rite is transmitted from womb to womb. Through words, breath, and intention.
You’ll be guided through a process of clearing, blessing, and reawakening your womb space, reconnecting you to the Earth and to your creative feminine essence.
This is not a mental or conceptual practice—it is energetic, deeply embodied, and sacred.
Who is it for?
This is a profound gift women can offer themselves, their loved ones and each other. For as we transform, so does the world around us.
The 13th Rite can be received at any stage of life, during pregnancy, or even if your physical womb is no longer present.
It is for you if you are:
A woman currently bleeding, wishing to deepen your connection with your cycle as a sacred rhythm.
A woman who no longer bleeds but wishes to activate your creative womb energy beyond the physical.
A woman who carries pain, trauma, or emotional memory in the womb and is ready to release it.
A woman walking the priestess or healer path, remembering your role as a vessel of creation.
A woman feeling the awakening of the sacred feminine within.
This is not a certification or class, this is a deep calling of remembrance and commitment to your own sacred divinity.
The women that choose to receive this rite commit to:
Become a protector of the womb, not just for yourself but for others as well. This rite helps release the pain and trauma stored within, allowing the womb to blossom into a source of profound power and beauty.
Embrace the Divine Feminine Christ consciousness awakening in the collective. The rite deepens your connection to the divine feminine, honoring the womb as a sacred vessel of creation. It reminds us that women are creators, and their wombs are places of strength, not suffering.
Sacred duty to share. As a Womb Keeper, you hold the responsibility to share this rite with other women, spreading its healing and empowerment. You are a bearer of the message that women are not meant to suffer, but to embrace their divine creative power.
Ongoing sacred practice: After receiving this shamanic initiation, you are encouraged to nurture and honor your womb through meditation, rituals, and connection with nature. This deepens your bond with the divine feminine and helps sustain the healing energy within.
The Integration: Nurturing the Rite
After receiving the Rite, you will be guided on how to nurture and tend to the energy for the following 13 moons through ceremony, journaling, and ongoing connection with your womb.
Once a woman receives the Rite of the Womb, she will start the nurturing process as soon as she holds her first womb ceremony.
A continuation of the Munay-Ki initiation is that the woman will nurture its power for thirteen moons of an entire year with a practice shared during the initiation. She will hold a womb ceremony on her own to strengthened the transmission, the seed implanted in her sacral energy center, her womb.
Nurturing the Rite of the Womb is a journey back to your true essence. There’s no rush, no urgency, this is a chosen path.
You’ll also be invited to share the Rite with other women once you’ve integrated it, if and when you feel called continuing the lineage of healing and remembrance. It is also totally ok to nurture the rite for yourself as your intimate practice.
These sacred containers are an invitation to pause, connect, and celebrate life’s most tender transitions
